Zella June Wyne

With profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving devoted friend Zella June Wyne on Thursday, February 19, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis on May 10, 1934. Preceding her in death were her parents Vena Estep Wyne and Harold Wyne and her brother Ansel of Seminole, Florida. Also preceding her in death was her long time friend and sister in the Lord Pastor Mary Lou McCormick.

After graduation from Washington High School she was employed by Link Belt, A&P Food Stores, and St. Vincent Hospital from which she retired.

Westside Church of the Nazarene was a formative influence in her life as well as the Northwest Assembly of God, and the last twenty-five years Trinity Tabernacle. It was in those houses of worship that she learned the Good News of salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She learned to trust Him as her personal Lord and Savior. She was truly a woman of God and loved to sing praises unto the Lord.

She will be sadly missed by her close friends Mary Adams, Vickie and Jon Earl and Shirlee Churchill.

Pastor Audry Gard will conduct a Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. Visitation will be 1:00 pm and the service will begin at 2:00 pm. Please observe Covid-19 restrictions.

Memorial contributions to Abundant Life- Haiti would be welcome.
