Yamilett Campbell

Yamilett Vera Campbell, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, February 20, 2023. She was born on December 23, 1941, in Costa Rica. Yami immigrated to the United States in 1965 and officially became a United States Citizen on August 15, 2007. She spent time as an apprentice with a jeweler learning how to repair and design custom jewelry. She eventually opened her own successful business in the Castleton area.

Yamilett is survived by her two older sisters, Vianney and Lilliana Vera Rodriguez, her cousin Astrid Vargas, Astrid’s daughter Maria Vera, her nieces Eugenia and Anahi Ocampo Vera and Jessica (Marco) Solano Vera and Jessica’s son, Sebastian. Yamilett was proceeded in death by parents Yolanda Rodriguez and Jose Porras and her former husband, John Campbell.
