William Stephen Smith

William Stephen (Steve) Smith, 73, of Fishers, IN passed away on November 11, 2022, at Methodist Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Steve was born on May 25, 1949, in Muncie, IN to William and Joan Smith. He graduated from Yorktown High School.
Steve was full of kindness, laughter, and joy. His big smile and laugh were infectious. He enjoyed an exceptional life involving his wife, children, and grandchildren. He also enjoyed racing of any kind. 
Steve is preceded in death by his father, William E. Smith and mother, Joan Smith.
Steve is survived by his wife, Sherry K. Smith, together 60 years. His children, son, Steve Smith and his significant other, Ashley Bollinger, son, Carl Smith and his wife, Alison Smith, and daughter, Stephanie Taggart and her significant other, John Shank. His grandchildren included, Alex Smith, Melissa Lahey, Kylie Smith, Austin Smith, Kaitlyn Smith, Sydney Eusey, Carter Cunningham, Madalynn Eusey, Raygan Roberts, Lilly Taggart, Rylynn Taggart, Eli Bollinger and Ella Bollinger and 1 great grandchild, Aria Wesley. His sister-in-law, Vickie Whitehair and her husband, Phil Whitehair.
Visitation is Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250
Memorial Service to follow from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
