William Ragsdale

William “Billy” E. Ragsdale passed away at Waldron Health Care in Waldron, Indiana on May 23, 2020 at age 71. William was born on January 5, 1949 to Leonard A. Ragsdale and Sara A. Ragsdale.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard A. Ragsdale and Sara A. Ragsdale, and his siblings Donna Cloud, Leonard Ragsdale, and Beverly Stockton. William is survived by his daughter Lee Ann Conley of Indianapolis, Indiana, grandchildren Kendell Burgess and Christian Burgess, and sisters Dolores Freels of Fairland, Indiana and June Mullins of Shelbyville, Indiana.

William graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was also honorably discharged from the United States Army. William worked in construction and worked as an armored truck driver for a period of time and enjoyed it greatly and was proud of his work. He thoroughly enjoyed basketball, music, and of course he loved beautiful women. While William had several wonderful qualities the most notable was his sense of humor and the love he had for his family and neither will ever be forgotten.

Funeral services for William Ragsdale will be held on May 28, 2020 at Indiana Funeral Care 2433 E. Main Street Greenwood, Indiana. Services will include a private visitation for immediate family from 10:00 am to 10:30 am, a public visitation from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, a service at 12:30 pm , and graveside service from 1:30pm to 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 State Road 135 in Greenwood, Indiana.
