It is with deepest sorrow, we announce that William (Lil Bill) Maxie, III our most beloved son, brother, family member and friend, passed on Friday, November 5th 2021 at the tender age of 18.
William was born on September 6, 2003, he had a strong and perseverant spirt. He was known to love to work and it was something he did exceptionally well. Like many youths, William enjoyed listening to music and playing sports with friends. Above all, his greatest pleasure was spending time with his young son, Damari. Unknown to some, William also had a deep love for the Bible and would at times tearfully meditate on his favorite scripture found at Revelation 21:3, 4 where it in latter reads “and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain anymore. The former things have passed away.” Like William, we prayerfully look forward to when those words will be fulfilled.
William will be lovingly remembered by his son, Damari Z’yaire Tymias Fisher, his parents; Racale Maxie and William Maxie Jr., his siblings: Correena (Emmanuel) Oluka, Kierra Washington, Travance Washington and Marcel Maxie, Jerome Bibbs; his nephews: Leland Tandy and Travell Washington; his grandmothers: Shelley Shorter and Ella Maxie, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by grandfathers, William Maxie Sr. and Allison Shorter.
For a fact, William will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank all for the support and prayers on behalf of this sudden and tragic loss.
