Michael Lewis

June 21, 1986 — July 17, 2022

Franklin

On Sunday, July 17th, 2022 William Michael Lewis Jr.(nicknamed Brub), loving husband, son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, son-in-law and friend became our forever guardian Angel at just 36 years old. As this is written it still feels unreal and unimaginable but the truth is so hard to accept. What brings us some version of comfort is knowing he is at peace and not suffering anymore from the brain cancer he fiercely battled since December of 2013.

We wish everyone in existence had the opportunity to know Michael or at least be on the receiving end of one of his infectious smiles...something he would present to ANYONE he met! If we could describe him in a few words the following would be most fitting:

Kind

Loving

Creative

Hilarious

Loyal

Imaginative

Charming

Welcoming

We could go on and on about him but those words are what most if not all of his family and friends would also describe him as. Michael had a thirst for adventure and lived in and visited many places in his short 36 years. He taught us to live life to the fullest and enjoy the short time we have with our loved ones.

We hope anyone that reads this and sees his picture, whether you knew him or not, you feel his positivity radiate through and gives just a little glimmer of the essence of who Michael Lewis was and will continue to be to those that loved him...he truly is irreplaceable and life will go on but will never be the same without him.

Michael is survived by his loving wife April Lewis, Dad William Michael Lewis and Step Mom Gayle Lewis, Mom Novalene Lewis, Sisters Novalene Michelle Hennessy, Angilee Renee Hurley, Brothers in law Steve Sandefur and Josh Hurley, Nephews Austin Hennessy, Lincoln Hurley, Nieces Alivia Hennessy, and Emersyn Hurley along with multiple extended family members that are grieving his death.

Michael is proceeded in death and welcomed into heaven by both of his Paternal Grandparents, and Maternal Grandparents along with extended family members surely rejoicing his arrival into eternity.
