William Carl “Bill” Schaub, age 73, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away at 3:10 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019 at The Springs of Mooresville surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 9, 1946 to the late Carl Clifton and Elva (Bogue) Schaub in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Bill was a graduate of Emmerich Manual High School and Sam’s Institute. He honorably served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968. He was employed at Steak n’ Shake, Stokely Van Camp, Allison Transmission, and Rolls Royce. Bill and his family are members of Woodside Community Church in Greenwood, Indiana.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Ileta (Estes) Schaub of Indianapolis, Indiana; his son, Mike Schaub and his wife Caryn of Cleveland, Tennessee; his daughter, Dawn Davis and her husband Jonathan of Greenwood, Indiana; his grandchildren, Alex, Isaac, Matthew, and Logan; his mother-in-law, Roberta Estes; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his sister Linda Schaub Morphew and his twin brother David E. Schaub.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 and 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019 also at Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel with Pastor Mark Petty officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 734 North Morgantown Road, Greenwood, Indiana 46142. In lieu of usual remembrances, direct memorial contributions to Woodside Community Church.
