William “Bill” Clayton Ralph, 75, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on March 4, 2024, in Noblesville, IN. He was born on June 7, 1948, in Goodlettsville, TN, to Horace Greene Ralph and Marian Rae (Worsham) Ralph. On June 17, 1967, he married the love of his life, Lynne (Alford Aycock) Ralph, and together they spent over 56 years together, watching their family grow. Clayton started his career at Allison Gas Turbine Engine in the factory. While completing his education, he moved into other roles such as a tool and die maker and a computer programmer. He retired after 40 years of service from Rolls-Royce, which acquired Allison Gas Turbine Engine, as a manufacturing engineer.
Clayton will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who had many joys in life. He enjoyed collecting Star Wars and SciFi memorabilia, playing chess, collecting and restoring cars, reading, training in karate and was the Indiana State Putt Putt champion in 1991. He also loved playing with his dogs, Luke and Leia.
Clayton is survived by his adoring wife, Lynne Ralph; devoted daughter, Jenny Egan (Chris); loving sister, Patricia Dodd (Daniel); cherished aunt, Roberta Worsham Fehrman; daughter-in-law, Mindi Doran; grandchildren, Aleah Ralph Vollono (Nick), Sophia Gance, Sydney Gance, Bailee Moore, Taylor Gance (Deven), Hettie Egan, Katherine Egan; great-grandchild, Devyn Molis; many nieces and nephews; and best friends, Lester VanMeter and Jaime Gance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Ralph and Marian Ralph, and beloved son, Ryan Ralph.
