Warren Knox Demaree, 87, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 in Greenfield, Indiana.
He was born on Friday, March 16, 1934 to the late Mark Thompson Demaree and Geneva Louise (Knox) Cahill in Indianapolis, Indiana. Warren wed Jeanette Marie Lambert on April 3, 1955 and were married 66 years, 4 months, and 13 days. He worked for the United States Post Office for 30 years before retiring. He also worked 10 years as a meat clerk at Kroger Grocery at Washington Square. He loved to fish, so fish was his specialty at Kroger Sea Food Department.
Warren is survived by his wife, Jeanette; children, Joseph, Warren Thomas, Denise Kay, John Samuel; brother, Mark Alan Demaree and his children, Marco, Tiffany, Erin; grandchildren, Joseph Nathan, Alicia Marie, Annie Jo, Jessica Augustina, Lori, Lisa, Derrick, Hannah, Christopher, Morgan, Cody, Ethan; great grandchildren, Jailyn, Jordan, Cameron, Aaliyah, Daisy Mae, Sebastian, Noah, Emmanual, Josie, Olivia, Phoenix, Parker, Ivy, Stevie, Austen, Kai, Luke, Noe, Suni, Ezra, Colt, Jackson, Alexander; great great grandchildren, Hayes, Miya, Liam, Blaze; and many cousins and their families, Thompsons, Dukes, Coffman’s, Patterson’s, Sandy, David, Barbara and many more.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 via Zoom.
