Walter Goodloe Jr.

Walter Fate Goodloe Jr. was born Jan 9, 1961, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Anita L. Goodloe and Walter F. Goodloe Sr. 

 Walter attended the Indianapolis Public Schools system. 

Walter professed his belief in Christ in his early adult years. He rededicated himself to the Lord and joined Greater St. Missionary Baptist Church in 2021. 

Walter spent his later years mentoring and encouraging the youth to be honest and productive. He was always eager to help them earn an honest living.  It was his goal to be a positive role model for his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He believed it was it was his duty to make sure they were on the right path. 

Walter was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Anita Goodloe, his daughter Bernita Goodloe, his brother Torrence Cates, two nephews Albert Goodloe and John Mallory and his fiancée Betty Davenport who passed just 24 days prior to him. 

Walter F. Goodloe was called home on September 22, 2022, at the age of 61 years. 8 months, and 13 days. He leaves to cherish his memory; 7 sons Perry Teague (Latosha), Donquaz Goodloe (Khadija), Walter Goodloe III, Dejuan Goodloe, Dearies Goodloe, Dalton Goodloe, Samuel Goodloe; 1 daughter Shalika Goodloe; 2 brothers Derrick Goodloe (Rosita), Timothy Linley (Jeanette); 4 sisters Rejeana Adkins (James), Teresa Russ, Dawn Goodloe, Lisa Goodloe; his stepmother Wanda Goodloe; 20 grandchildren; 21 nieces and nephews and a host of other cousins, family, and friends.
