Vivian Belle Leonard, 78, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at Cumberland Trace in Plainfield, Indiana. She was born October 4, 1942 at home in Eaton, Ohio to Anna Lillian (Phillips) Roe and James William (Bill) Roe. She was the 4th of 5 children. She married the love of her life, Bennie Dean Leonard on December 2, 1962.
Vivian graduated from Jackson High School in Campbellstown, Ohio on May 22, 1960. She retired at the age of 70 from working all her life in the insurance field, that included several positions, certificates and several awards.
Vivian was obsessed by photography and took pictures of her family and all the places she visited with her husband, including China, Niagara Falls, Florida and Texas.
Vivian was very active with her church, Calvary Bible Wesleyan Church, and was loved by all.
Survivors include her husband, Bennie Dean Leonard, 2 sons, Jeffrey (Darlene) Leonard, Colorado, and Randall Leonard, Indiana; grandson, Joshua Leonard; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Doris Walker, Sheridan, Indiana; brother, William (Janice) Roe, Kokomo, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.
Vivian was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tonya Leonard; sister, Barbara Rader; and brother James Roe.
Vivian will be remembered as a kind, loving, woman who loved God, Church and her family.
Her family would like to thank Cumberland Trace for the loving, caring and professional care she received.
Vivian will truly be missed by her family, friends and her church.
Services will be at the Calvary Bible Wesleyan Church in Plainfield, Indiana on Wednesday October 19, 2020. Viewing hours are from 11am to 1pm with services following immediately thereafter.
