Trudie Jane Miller

Trudie Jane (Sheridan) Miller, 84, of Franklin, Indiana passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at her home with family by her side.

Trudie was born June 1, 1940, in Torrance, California to the late Bernal L. and Sally Jo (Turley) Sheridan.

She is survived by her children, Beth Coons (Scott), Benton "Butch" Haganman, Steve Haganman; grandchildren, Melanie Coons, Levi Coons (Wednesday), Joshua Haganman, Tara Thorstad (Jason), Andrew Haganman, Evan Haganman and 11 great grandchildren.

Trudie is preceded in death by her husband, Benton Haganman; second husband, Alphie Miller; siblings, Mary Ernest, Mike Sheridan and Karen McLinn Neal.

Trudie was the founder and co-owner of Gymnastics, Etc! Her and her daughter worked side-by-side for 55 years where she left a legacy and where she was loved and cherished by all who called her Mimi! Trudies dance group was called Gotta Dance! Her love for dancing spans 40 years! She taught group lessons, line dancing, clogging, country, couples, ballroom dancing, West Coast swing, nightclub two step. She loved spending time with her dancing friends! She was also a level 10 gymnastic judge for 33 years! She judged all over Indiana and in many other states! Her imprint in the Gymnastics world will be missed!

She will be sorely missed, but her light will shine through all of us forever!
