Tricia Ann (Johnston) Ryan, 49, of Indianapolis, went peacefully home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 15, after a short and difficult battle with cancer.
Born April 5, 1972, to Ronny and Shirley Johnston of Cambridge City, Indiana. She was a 1990 graduate of Union High School in Modoc, Indiana and a 1994 graduate of Olivet Nazarene University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She married Don Ryan on April 24, 2015.
Tricia is survived by her parents, husband, stepsons Mark, Grant and Jonathan, sister Ronda (Scott) Messer, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
She loved to serve in the church through production arts, the Grace Care Center and many other roles over the years. Every time she ran the lighting at weekend services, she would bake a dessert (usually caramel brownies) to share with others. She lived every day with a thankful heart and will be missed by all who knew her. She was dearly loved.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Tricia’s life will take place on Sunday, June 20 at 1 PM at Grace Church, 5504 E 146th St, Noblesville, IN 46062. As a way to honor her memory, we are doing a pitch-in with baked desserts (cookies, brownies, etc) to share together. Feel free to participate in bringing something, though it is not required. The memorial gathering will also be broadcast live via YouTube - https://youtu.be/xWf2hx8wXdY .
