Trent Harris Rager

Trent Rager of Carmel, Indiana passed away peacefully at his home among family on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the age of 79. He is survived by his loving wife Susan Rager, his children Whitney (and Trevor) Templin of Zionsville, Indiana, Brent (and Tara) Rager of Fishers, Indiana, and Trent Erik Rager of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his beloved grandchildren Audrina and Cameron Rager (Brent and Tara) and Lilli Templin (Whitney and Trevor), and his dog, Wilson.

Trent was a special education teacher and administrator for 40 years having touched the lives of so many children, before enjoying a well-earned retirement in Florida, and then Indiana. He earned a PhD in Psychology and a Master of Science in Special Education from the Indiana University and attended undergrad at Florida State University. He graduated high school from Seacrest High School in Delray Beach, Florida. He volunteered to join the Army as a member of the Big Red 1 division and was stationed in Fort Riley Kansas, and later in Berlin, Germany. He loved the Florida State Seminoles and the Indianapolis Colts. He spent his last years in retirement happily enjoying his grandchildren. He was a great father, human, and friend, and he will be dearly missed.

As per his wishes, there will be no memorial service. His family will take part in a celebration of life at a later date.
