Thomas LaRocco, 67, went home to be with the Lord, October 13th, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family, after a long, valiant battle against cancer.
Tom was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on November 15th, 1953. After completing his educational endeavors, Tom served nine years in the United States Air Force. He graduated from Indiana Baptist College in 1983, and worked at the Indianapolis Post Office as a Mail Handler for 33 years.
Tom was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan. He also enjoyed writing poems, taking road trips, grilling out and spending time with his family. Tom’s closest friends meant the world to him, and never missed an opportunity to bless a person’s life. There are many things about him that will keep him in our hearts.
Tom leaves behind his devoted wife of 42 years, Eileen LaRocco; his daughters Marie and Heather LaRocco; his grandson, Matthew LaRocco; beloved brothers and sisters, Richard (Marie) LaRocco; Mary (George) Spidle; Cindy (Mike) Maxwell; Laura (Jack) Linx; David (Pam) LaRocco; closest cousin, Jim (Carol) LaRocco; and several other cousins, nieces, and nephews. Tom is preceded in death by his parents; Richard and Marion LaRocco.
Visitation will be held from 9am-11:30am on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel. The memorial service will begin promptly at 11:30am followed by military honors at 12pm.
