Thomas J. McKeon

Thomas Joseph McKeon was born on February 03, 1948 to Thomas M. McKeon and Mary R Luzar McKeon in Indianapolis Indiana.

He attended Holy Trinity Catholic School and graduated from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis. He received a Bachelor Degree from Indiana University, and a law degree from Indiana University Law School.

Tom specialized in Insurance Law, progressing through increasingly complex positions, and was employed by American Family Insurance for over thirty years. He performed volunteer work for the local Bar Association.

Tom was very interested in music, especially in early rock and roll, do wop, and rockabilly music. At one point he sang back up rhythm for Dion during an Indianapolis appearance. Another hobby was his yellow 1970 Chevrolet Corvette, which he owned for over forty years.
From early childhood Tom was devoted to a wide variety of pets, including reptiles, ducks and ferrets.

He was predeceased by his parents, and is survived by his brother, Daniel M. McKeon (Christine), two nieces, Noell K. Richmond, and Heather M. McKeon, a grandnephew and three grandnieces.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 1 pm to 2 pm at the Chapel at Calvary Cemetery, 435 W. Troy Ave, Indianapolis. Services will be held at 2 pm.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society.
