Thomas Allen Johnson

Thomas Allen Johnson, 82, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully on March 22nd, 2022 with his Daughter by his side. He was born on 11/07/1939 in Indianapolis to Ruth McKinney and Willis Johnson. He is survived by sons David (Joy), Dennis (Dawn), and Bill (Sherry), daughter Sharon (Tom), cousin Judy, long time friend Barb, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Tom was proceeded in death by parents Ruth and Willis , brother Gerald Johnson , son Tommy Johnson Jr, and daughter Nola Greenlee.
Our Dad, lived a long and full life as a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors in general.
He was an auto mechanic and could repair anything!
He had a curious mind and loved maps, stars, and the moon. He enjoyed journaling and photography. There was never a dull moment! He had a way of making those around him laugh often. His children share his sense of humor.
Family will remember Tom as an avid sports fan! He enjoyed cheering on the Colts, Pacers and any NBA basketball team! He also enjoyed watching NASCAR races.
He was an animal lover and cared for his beloved pets Buddy, Angel, Snoopy, and Blackie with all of his heart.
He will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Family will be scattering his ashes in Brown County to honor his love for the outdoors and hobbies as an outdoorsman.
