Theresa Agnes Weir

Theresa Agnes Weir, 77 residing in Indianapolis,Indiana passed away peacefully at home on Monday

June 5, 2023. She was surrounded by her children Carmen and Becket as well as her grandchildren Tashina,Latisha, Antonio, Quincey and Caleb.

  Theresa(Terri) was born on September 18, 1945 in Deadwood, South Dakota to parents John Francis Castonguay and Germaine Agnes Castonguay. She spent her childhood and teen years in Spearfish, South Dakota. She graduated from St Martins academy in 1963. It was during this time she would meet the love of her life David Martin Weir. He was in the Air Force and stationed at Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City at the time.  They were married June 2, 1964.

   After David retired from the Military in 1981, He and Theresa relocated from California to Indiana where she attended Ball State University. She received her Bachelors of Science in Finance and began working for the Indiana Department of Revenue. She retired from service there in 2011. David passed in November of 2022.

  Theresa was a loving and supportive wife, a caring and compassionate mother, a trusted and loved friend to all that knew her. She is survived by her Daughter Carmen Blair, Son Becket Weir, and Daughter In Law Bobbie Mauer.  Her Grandchildren are Tashina Carson, Latisha Johnson, Jarrid Weir, Antonio Weir, Quincey Weir, Caleb Weir. Her Great Grandchildren are Tenaya Carson, Adarius Carson, Joshua Carson, Kameron Edwards and Dailyn Johnson. She has 2 surviving siblings as well. Sister Virginia Kline and Brother Mark Castonguay.
