Terry Million, born on October 20, 1946, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on April 8, 2025. A cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Terry's life was marked by dedication to his family and a successful career in the trucking industry.
Terry graduated from Whiteland Community High School before embarking on an honorable service in the Marine Corps from 1964 to 1970. His commitment to excellence continued throughout his career as he founded T.A. Million Inc. in 1981. Over the years, Terry logged more than five million accident-free miles, a testament to his skill and dedication as a professional truck driver. He retired in 2017, leaving behind a legacy of safety and commitment in the industry.
On October 23, 1968, Terry married his beloved wife, Ruby (Cole) Million, in Naples, Italy. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Terry was a dedicated family man who took immense joy in spending time with his daughters, Sonia and Brandy, as well as his grandchildren, Tabitha, Alexis, Jacob, and Zach. He was particularly fond of creating cherished memories with his great-granddaughters, Kaylyn, Ruby, and Sapphire, often engaging in activities that brought joy to their lives.
In addition to his family and career, Terry found satisfaction in simple pleasures. He enjoyed mowing the yard, working on his truck, and relishing every moment spent with his loved ones.
Terry is survived by his wife, Ruby Million; daughters Sonia Million of Franklin, IN, and Brandy Million of Franklin, IN; grandchildren Tabitha Cochenour of Orlando, FL, Alexis Thompson of Franklin, IN, Jacob Cochenour of Franklin, IN, and Zach Thompson of Franklin, IN; and great-granddaughters Kaylyn Cochenour, Ruby Wright, and Sapphire Wright.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jim and Tom Million; sister, Roberta Kammerer; and his parents, Ashford Million and Freida Sandhoff.
Terry Million's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. His family and friends will remember him as a gentle soul whose love and kindness knew no bounds. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
