Terrie G. Pettigrew

Terrie Pettigrew 60 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Aug 27, 2023, at her daughter's home in Greenfield, Indiana.

Terrie was born on Tuesday, June 04, 1963, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Robert Earl and Carol Marie (Lovelace) Smock.

Terrie was known as a bit of a spitfire and would tell you how it was. She was loud and outspoken and was like a mother hen to all the young'uns. She had a big heart and always watched out for everyone. Terrie had one of the most beautiful smiles that lit up any room she walked into. Always the life of every party.

Terrie loved to be outside working in her garden of plants or out with her friends having fun dancing or just driving around town shopping. She loved spending time with her family/friends and always had her nieces and nephews around her and loved them like her own. Terrie was Baptized at her daughter's church, Lawrence Apostolic on June 25, 2023, by her pastor Terry Long.

Terrie is survived by her daughter, Tara Collins and her husband Lee; 8 grandchildren Johnny, Hope, Kendra, Troy, Faith, Jakob, Jacob, and Charles; sisters Vickie, Cindy, Bonnie, Carrie, Mary; brothers Randy and Rick as well as many nieces and nephews Terrie also took in Rhonda Fox as her "other daughter" when Rhonda was just 17.

Terrie is preceded in death by her parents, Robert, and Carol Smock; brother, Earl Smock; sister Linda Floerke and husband Michael Pettigrew.

Memorial visitation is Friday, September 8, 2023, 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Memorial service will begin at 4:00 pm with Pastor Terry Long officiating.
