Terri Lynne Knight, age 57, passed away peacefully August 23, 2021, surrounded by friends and family. She was born February 28, 1964 in Peoria, Illinois to John Frederick Karpowicz and Nancy (Bowman) Brown.
She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her dear friend and companion, Dale Jennings; daughters: Chrystal (Phil) Smith and Amber (Travis) Sullivan and grandchildren: Devon, Chloe, and Emilia. As well as numerous relatives and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her beloved brother, John A. Karpowicz; infant sister: Theresa, and her parents.
Terri worked for the Marion County Treasurer's office for 17 years. She brightened the place with her humor and stylish outfits. She loved new clothes and would always pair things together in her own "hippie way".
She LOVED her children and grandchildren and showed them off whenever she could. Other than spending time with family and friends, she loved sitting outside on her porch enjoying the fresh "non-recycled air" along with her beautiful plants and flowers.
Anything that had a "Froggie" on it was something to be treasured. She couldn't pass one up and had one in every nook and cranny in her home. She enjoyed decorating her home by "making things work" with what she had and creating a space that was uniquely her own.
She was always being silly and looking for fun and laughter. It was not uncommon for her to put whipped cream on your nose, hide a spider in a co-worker's drawer, or shoot you with a nerf dart. Her fun-loving spirit will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held between the hours of 2pm and 4pm on Friday, August 27th at Indiana Funeral Care, 2433 E. Main St, Greenwood, IN 46143.
