Tammi Jean Klawitter, 57, was welcomed to Heaven's Gates with open arms on September 17th, 2023. She was born in Harvey, Illinois on October 1st, 1965, to her parents, Ruth and Ralph.
Tammi was the was the oldest of 7 siblings, who she all loved and cared for dearly. She graduated from Illiana Christian High School in Dyer, Indiana in 1983.
Tammi was known for having an incredibly caring, tender-hearted personality that touched all she met, whether it be family, coworkers, or total strangers. She had nothing but love to give, and her kind soul was welcomed and appreciated by all.
She was also known by many to have an unwavering spirit of perseverance. Whether it be at work or at home, she faced all troubles and hardship with an iron-willed determination, all while keeping a smile on her face. Her dedication to always looking on the bright side was only overshadowed by her mindset of always moving forward, even through the hardest of times.
Tammi is survived by her two children, Aaron and Baylee Klawitter, as well as her parents, Ruth and Ralph.
Anyone who knew Tammi personally will agree that she is an immeasurable loss to their world, but also the greatest motivator to live life in a way that would have made her proud. If you wish to properly memorialize her, there's no better way than to raise your fist and chant "Go Bears!"
There will be a visitation and memorial service on Sunday, October 1st, 2023 at Indiana Funeral Care in Greenwood, Indiana. The visitation is from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with the memorial service to follow at 3:00pm.
