It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of our beloved Tamara Nicole Dearman, who departed this world on Monday, August 19th, 2024, at the age of 39. Born on a bright Saturday morning, August 17, 1985, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Tamara brought joy and light to everyone who knew her.
Tamara's early years were spent in Indianapolis, where she attended Benjamin Harrison Elementary School #2, followed by Ben Davis High School. She later graduated from Arsenal Technical High School, leaving behind a legacy of determination and a zest for life. Always driven to enhance her skills and knowledge, Tamara pursued further education in cosmetology and completed her training as a medical assistant.
Her career path led her to the culinary world, where her passion for cooking blossomed into a professional pursuit. Tamara was a gifted cook, known for her ability to turn simple ingredients into extraordinary meals. Her love for cooking was just one aspect of her adventurous spirit, as she lived boldly and embraced life with infectious enthusiasm.
Tamara's interests were as diverse as her talents. She had a love for singing and dancing, often becoming the life of any gathering with her vibrant personality. She adored fashion, always dressed to impress, and took great pleasure in shopping for the latest trends. Movies were another source of joy, and she treasured time spent with family and friends.
A woman of faith, Tamara was a devoted member Hall Temple Church of God in Christ, where she sang with the Sunshine Choir. Her giving nature extended beyond her family and friends to her community, where she was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Tamara is survived by her son, Jason Diddock Jr.; her beloved mother, Dawn Yevonne Goodloe; and her siblings, Candus Dearman, Andre Bankhead, Micuyla James, and Miya James. She leaves behind cherished memories with her nephews, Nathan Prince Dearman and Isaiah Bankhead; and her nieces, Aaliyah Bankhead and Abre'yah Bankhead, as well as her aunties, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Rosie Lee Sanders; grandmothers, Anita Goodloe and Cherylynn Ash; grandfather, Thomas Mitchell; her father, Jeffery Eugene Dearman Sr.; and her brother, Jeffery Jr. Their memories will continue to live on through Tamara's legacy of love, laughter, and generosity.
Tamara Nicole Dearman lived a life full of love, adventure, and unwavering faith. She will be remembered for her warmth, smile, and remarkable ability to light up any room. Her spirit will forever be in our hearts, and her impact on those who knew her will be felt for years to come.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46250.
