Sylvia Elaine Decker

Sylvia E. Decker, 81 years old, passed away July 2, 2021, in Indianapolis, IN surrounded by her family. Sylvia was a loving wife to Robert Decker for 63 years. She was a loving mother to 4 daughters as well as a grandmother to 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild on the way. She loved to bake, tell jokes to make people laugh, and spend time with her family and church members.

Sylvia is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Decker; daughters, Janet (Leroy) Mullins, Gayle Decker, Rhonda (Don) Dolph; grandchildren, Dusty Ercole, Jason Ercole, Shon Moore, Alan Meyers, Amy Johnson, Sarah Hixson, Ashley Montgomery, Joshua Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Angelina, Zoey, Elijah, Emily, Reed, Nelson, Brian, Derek, Serenity, Diana, Jaxson, Peyton; great-great-grandchild, Arabella. She was preceded in death by her parents James & Helen Drake of Indianapolis and her daughter Diana McKinney of Helmsburg.

Visitation will be held from 11-1pm on Thursday, July 8th at Woodside Community Church located at 1811 S Morgantown Rd, Greenwood, IN 46143. Family will have their private visitation from 10-11am. Graveside service will follow at East Hill Cemetery, Morgantown, IN. In lieu of flowers Sylvia has requested donations to be made to Woodside Community Church.
