Susan Lynn McGuire

Susan L. (Middleton) McGuire, 63, of Indianapolis, IN passed away in the early morning of September 7, 2024, at home with her husband and children. Susan was born to Barbara and Don Middleton on January 12, 1961, on the east side of Indianapolis. Susan is a graduate of Lawrence North High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in business at Saint Joseph’s College, Rensselaer, IN. Starting in 1981, Susan worked at Allstate Insurance Company and retired after 35 years. 

Early in her life, Susan displayed tremendous compassion and strength by helping to support and care for her ill mother until her passing. Susan met and married, Dennis McGuire of Indianapolis, IN, on June 30, 1990. Susan flourished as a loving wife and caring mother to her children, Katherine and Thomas. 

Susan is survived by her husband, Dennis; daughter, Katherine; and son, Thomas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara; sister, Heidi; and father, Don. 

There will be a celebration of life held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 3pm to 5pm at NorthView Church, Binford Campus – 6620 Northview Way, Indianapolis, IN, 46220.
