Susan Elizabeth Holtman

Susan Elizabeth Holtman, 58, of Indianapolis, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio passed away from cancer March 6, 2023.  She was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer last summer. 

Sue was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 10^th, 1965, to the late Jean (Ringham) Holtman and Stanley Holtman.  She was the youngest of three children. She will be deeply missed by her brother Mike Holtman, sister-in-law Cindy (Fessler) Holtman and nephew Max Holtman. She is also survived by her oldest brother Jay Holtman, her Aunt Joyce (Ringham) Dunn, and cousins Sherrie (Mayer) Wilson, Ron Mayer, Kathie (Mayer) Bowen, Mark Dunn, April Dunn, Cathy VanHorn and David VanHorn. 

She was very proud of her lifelong and loyal friendships with Shelly (O’Neil) Braden and Michelle (Huffman) Vickers.

Sue graduated from Mt. Healthy High School in Cincinnati in 1983. She attended Southern Ohio College and graduated in 1985.    

She worked a few different jobs before leaving the workplace to care for her elderly parents prior to their passing.  She moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in the fall of 2014 and started work at DuCharme, McMillan and Associates, Inc. She truly enjoyed her work there and regularly spoke very highly of her friends and colleagues at DMA.

Sue loved her many pets over the years, especially the family dogs Suzette, Sam and Katie, as well as her cat in Indiana, KitKat.

Based on her wishes, there will be no service.
