Sudha R. Seetharam

We are sorry to inform of the untimely and unexpected loss of Sudha R. Seetharam. Sudha had just celebrated her 60th birthday in July of this year. Sudha grew up in Matunga, Mumbai, attended college at University of Mumbai where she studied Economics, and immigrated to the US in her early 20’s after marrying her husband, Raju, in 1987. She lived in Rochester, New York for most of her life while in the United States. She briefly worked in Medical Records Technology before pursuing her career as an Optician for a local doctor. Sudha was a real people person, and she provided utmost service to her clients, who got fitted for glasses and contacts from her for many years. She worked in the Optical industry for over 20 years. In the last few years, she was living with her son, Aneil, in a suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Sudha had a big heart, and was always willing to offer a helping hand to people when needed. She loved dogs, and had Bailey, who was a Coton de Tulear, by her side always. She loved her jewelry & enjoyed shopping. She was a rebel, who lived her life to the fullest, and threw caution to the wind. Remember her fondly, think of the good times, and raise a glass to her life!

Private cremation will be held for immediate family at Indiana Funeral Care & Crematory. She is survived by her husband, Raju, and her son, Aneil. Sudha can now join her beloved daughter, Sonya, who pre-deceased her, her parents, Ramakrishnan and Nirmala, and her beloved dog, Bailey. May her soul find peace. Om Shanti Om.
