Steven L. Briscoe

Steven L. Briscoe 69, of Fortville, IN. passed away on Friday April 10, 2020 at 2:42 P.M. at his home following a brief illness. He served in Vietnam from 69-70 with the 25th Infantry Division Electric Strawberry. Following Vietnam, he made a career as a truck driver. He was a volunteer fire fighter for the Buck Creek Twp. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and his dog Sable his hot rod groups, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. He was born in Peru, IN. on April 27, 1950 to Jessie Sr. and Glenna Briscoe. He married his wife Cathi on June 2, 2012 in Indianapolis, IN. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and was baptized Christian. He was survived by his wife Cathi of Fortville, IN. His daughter Heather (Bruce) Reynolds of Indianapolis, IN. Jennifer (Jeremy) Berlin of Camby, IN. Danielle (Jennifer) Cochran of Fortville, IN. his 6 grandkids and 4 great grandkids. His brothers David (Lois) Briscoe, Jesse (Vickie) Briscoe Jr. Larry (Sarah) Briscoe, Dale (Tina) Briscoe, Jamie Briscoe, Eric Briscoe, his sisters Patricia (Rodger) Coy, Joyce Briscoe, Janice Williams, Lori Roberts, Kristie Hooper, Ellen Milligan. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Glenna Briscoe, his brother Jerry Briscoe, and his granddaughter Lynsie Berlin. A celebration of Steve life will be held on a future date.
