Stephen Wischmeyer

Stephen E. Wischmeyer, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 8, 2023. Stephen was born to the late Roy E. and Alberta D. (McKinney) Wischmeyer on January 15, 1944, in Indianapolis. Steve graduated from Southport High School, and he spent his career as an HVAC Service Specialist. He married the love of his life, Nancy (Trumble) Wischmeyer, on October 6, 1984. In retirement, Steve could be found on the golf course (his second love), tinkering in his workshop (often building a new birdhouse or two each day), or simply enjoying the fresh air as he worked around his yard.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Wischmeyer; a sister, Carryl Krohne; and nephews Todd and Eric Krohne. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Paul Krohne.
