Stanley Eugene Gipson

Stanley Eugene Gipson, 73, of Cicero, IN, passed away with his loved ones by his side on Friday, August 30, 2024. He was born on July 27, 1951, proudly in Jackson County, Gainsboro, TN, to the late Johnny Gipson and Verda (Raines) Gipson. 

He later married the love of his life, Angela (Vizzo) Gipson, on July 5, 1975. Together they spent over 49 years by each other’s sides, raising their family and watching their two children, then grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. 

Stanley was a hard worker who worked for much of his life as a factory worker. Stanley will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many, who had many joys in life. Stanley was devoted to his wife and enjoyed their time together. He and Angela enjoyed playing Bingo together and spending time with one another. He also loved Sunday family dinners at his son’s, Bryan, and his wife Carey’s, house. Stanley took pride in his family, and the greatest joy in life was the time he spent with family, who will all miss him very much. 

Stanley is survived by his wife, Angela Gipson; sons, Kurt Gipson and Bryan (Carey) Gipson; brother, Tony Gipson; four grandchildren, Rilyn Gipson, Niyah Gipson, Zyler Gipson, and Xadyn Gipson; and 2 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Gipson and Verda Gipson; as well as his two sisters, Cathey and Robbie Gipson .
