Shelley Alexander

Shelley Alexander, 60, passed away on December 2, 2023, in Indianapolis, IN surrounded by her family. Shelley was born on August 26, 1963 in Beech Grove, IN, to Carl Fink and Beverly Wagner (Hoyt).

Shelley graduated from Kokomo Highschool in 1981 and went on to earn a dental assistant certificate. She enjoyed working in a dental office for a few years before she had kids. After raising kids for 10 years she started her career in Technology and worked at Perry Township schools. She worked for many years and moved up in her department constantly learning more and working hard at her job.

Shelley married Bobby Alexander on April 27th 1985 and the couple had 2 children, Christine Grondziak(Alexander)and Tyler Alexander.

Shelley was best known for her love of life. She loved her family and friends more than anything. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach. She loved music and spending quality time with those she cared most about. She was always up for a good time...and rushing the stage! She called herself OMS (One More Shelley) for her love of keeping the party going.

Shelley is survived by husband, Bobby; daughter, Christine (Duane) Grondziak; grandchildren, Vera and Hudson; son, Tyler (Alexis) Alexander; granddaughters Rilynn and Harper; mother, Beverly Wagner; brothers, Brian (Anita) Fink, Greg (Sheila) Fink; and several nieces and nephews.

Shelley is preceded in death by her father, Carl Fink and her niece, Shelby Fink.

A celebration of life service for Shelley will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel with visitation starting at 11:00 AM.
