Sharon Paberzs passed away peacefully at the age of 80. Sharon was born on March 5, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Harry and Alma Collins.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, John Paberzs. She is survived by her two sons, Chris (Kelly) Paberzs and John Paul Paberzs; her grandchildren, Shelby, Samantha and John; sisters, Shirley Slinker and Judy (Mort) Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews. She graduated from Harry E. Wood High School in 1958. After graduation, Sharon earned her cosmetology license and worked as a hairstylist for 30 years. After retiring from the cosmetology profession, she began her second career at Hoosier Badge, where she worked for over 20 years. She spent countless hours volunteering at Christ the King Catholic Church and School and as a Cub Scout den leader. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing games, cards, and baking cookies. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and knitting. Sharon discovered her joy of cooking at a young age, spending hours in the kitchen with her mom. Above all, she loved being a mother and grandmother and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be held on August 18, 2020 at Indiana Funeral Care from 5-7pm. (Masks are required). Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 10:00am at Christ the King Catholic Church and she will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
