S. Kay DeCamp-Donaldson

S. Kay DeCamp-Donaldson passed away after an extended illness on Thursday morning, September 14, 2023, with her son by her side. She was 78.

Kay was a lifelong Muncie resident and attended Roosevelt Elementary School, Wilson Junior High School, and Muncie Central High School. She loved spending time with family and friends, including her special four-legged friends that kept her company over the years. She worked for several years as the manager of a video store before her retirement.

Kay is survived by one son, David DeCamp (New Palestine); three grandchildren, Nathan DeCamp (Brittany) (Nashville, TN), Josh DeCamp (Brittany) (Indianapolis), and Courtney DeCamp (Cincinnati). She cherished her four great grandchildren: McKynlee, Kameron, Kaelynn, and Kohen. She is also survived by one brother, Michael DeCamp (Nancy) of Indianapolis, and several nieces, great nieces, and great nephews. Special appreciation goes to her good friends, Penny and Randy Young (Dunkirk).

Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie L. Donaldson; her mother and father, Margie and Ralph DeCamp; her brothers, Freddie Nicholas and Bob Nicholas; and her biological father, Fred Nicholas.

Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday, September 23rd at the Fairlawn Church of Christ, 6108 W. Bethel Ave., Muncie, IN 47304. A celebration of life service will follow at 2pm.
