Sharon met and married Richard Edwards Jr. from their union a daughter Dawn Rene’ and a son Richard “Ricky” were born.
Sharon was employed at the Indiana State Fairgrounds where she was able to use her joyful voice and her radiant attitude.
Sharon confessed her love for Jesus Christ at an early age. She became a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church where she blessed people with her melodious voice. She sang with the Bethel’s Mass Choir and the Reid singers.
Indeed, Sharon will be remembered best for the charming things that vividly characterized her life: Her beautiful wide dimpled smile, her joyful laugh, her passion for sharing the gospel of Jesus and her ride or die dedication to the Indianapolis Colts.
Sharon was a doting granny to Aness Kai and Kendall Rae.
Throughout Sharon’s life she was adopted by many as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt friend, and confidant.
She is survived by her daughter Dawn, granddaughter Aneesa (Ky, AKA Hari) her grandson Kendall. Her sisters Brenda Joyce Campbell, Denise Jessup, and Stephanie Beasley. Brothers Davis Lamont Rhem Sr., Carl Michael Davis, Anthony (Phyllis) Davis, and Robin (Samantha) Davis. Nieces Allison (Darrell) Ortiz, Megan (Craig) Harriman, and a host of nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many, many friends.
