Sharon Ann Cecil

Sharon Ann Cecil, 78, passed away on November 15, 2024, at Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield, IN. She was born on July 26, 1946, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to the late Jack Massie and Ruth (Jones) Massie. 

Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many who had many joys in life. When her children were younger, she enjoyed coaching her “softball girls” every season. She also loved jigsaw puzzles, playing bingo, and being with her cat, Tilly. Her greatest joy in life, however, was the time she spent with her grandchildren, and the many trips visiting the zoo together. 

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Kippy (Steve Cash) Cecil; grandchildren, Cassie Cecil, Alyssa Cash, Kyle (Brittany) Cecil, and Kyla Cecil; brother, Sam (Kelly) Massie; as well as four great-grandchildren who will all miss her very much. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Massie and Ruth Massie; as well as her two sons, Brian Cecil and Mark Cecil.

Services for Sharon will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 11:00am at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46250. Family and friends are welcome to gather for a public visitation prior to services from 10:00am – 11:00am at the funeral home.
