Shannon Douglas Lovins, born on May 23, 1970, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on October 28, 2024, in Camby, Indiana. He was a loving father, devoted grandfather, cherished son, and a dedicated brother.
Shannon is survived by his three children: Nicholas Lovins, Shannon (Brittany) Lovins, and Sierra Lovins. He was a proud grandfather to Rylee Bowen, Kayden Baker, and Ozias Gomez.
Shannon is also survived by his father, Michael Lovins, and his mother, Sharon Ingram. He had two brothers, Shane (Julie) Lovins and Douglas (Danielle) Lovins, a niece, Brooke Lovins, as well as two nephews, Tao Lovins and Maris Lovins.
Shannon was preceded in death by his nephew, Andrew Lovins, and his niece, Samantha Lovins.
Shannon's life was enriched by his passions, which included a love of classic cars and being an avid fan of racing and IndyCar, as well as having a deep appreciation for sports memorabilia. His love for the New York Yankees was a prominent part of his life, reflecting his enthusiasm for sports.
Among his proudest accomplishments, Shannon cherished his roles as a father and grandfather. He took great joy in being there for his family, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love.
Shannon's family will be holding a private graveside service to celebrate his life.
