Shannon Jones

Shannon Lynn Jones (Howell), 56, of Indianapolis passed away on Monday, April 3 at home in Indianapolis. Shannon was born on June 6, 1966 in Tipton to parents Roy Howell and Debbie (Boes) Harrison.

She is preceded in death by her father Roy Howell, her cousin Bryan Howell and both sets of her grandparents.

She is survived by her mother Debbie (Michael) Harrison, her husband Jeffrey Jones, her sister Joyce (Randy) Butler of Cicero, brother James Wright of Arcadia, sister Nita (Greg) Everling of Tipton, brother Steven Shelby of Kokomo, a godchild named Grace Fortin (Hauser) of Greencastle and several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Shannon attended Hamilton Heights High School as a part of the Class of 1984. She married her husband Jeff in November 1997 in Owen County, IN. Shannon loved vacationing to the beaches of Cancun, camping, quilting, quality time with family and friends. Shannon was a bookkeeper was for husband Jeff’s company “Jeffrey’s Garage Doors” and a member of the Noblesville Eagles. She requested memorial contributions be made to either St. Jude’s Hospital or Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.

A celebration of life for Shannon will be held at a later date.
