Sean Christopher Murphy

Sean Christopher Murphy, 65, passed away on January 18, 2025, at Compassus Hospice in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on September 18, 1959, Indianapolis, IN to the late, John Christopher Murphy, Jr. and Juanita (Fellows) Murphy. 

Sean was skilled with computers and received his bachelor’s degree in computer science. He worked for much of his life as a truck driver, spending over 40 years on the road. In addition to his work, Sean also had many joys in life. He loved racing and was a member of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) for many years. He also loved dogs and enjoyed his companions at his side, wherever he went. Sean was a father to two daughters, Sabrina and Sarah, and was grandfather to four grandchildren, whom he all loved very much. 

 Sean is survived by his daughters, Sarah (Murphy) Smith, and Sabrina Murphy; as well as his grandchildren, Gabriel, Nancy, and J.J.

In addition to his parents, John Christopher Murphy, Jr. and Juanita Murphy, he was preceded in death by one grandchild, Lacinda.
