Sean Michael Bolduc, 55 went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 22 after suffering a significant stroke on December 17, 2021. Sean completed in-patient rehab and returned home to his wife Carrie on February 12, where they navigated his continued rehabilitation. Throughout this time Sean showed remarkable kindness to all who cared for him as well as his patented wit and remarkable recall for which he was so well known.
Sean was most passionate about his golf students -- especially his young players whose talents and dreams Sean poured himself into. His love for teaching, his dedication to investing in the lives of others, and his extreme generosity all flowed out of his Christian faith and the grace he wholeheartedly believed God had extended to him. He looked forward to once again getting back to teaching his students, both in his studio and at the Bridgewater Club, and running the Mizuno Junior Golf tour this summer. Sean cherished the friendships and relationships that had so easily grown out of his time as an instructor and saw his students not as clients but as lifelong friends.
He is survived by his wife Carrie(Molendorp), whom he met on their first day of school at Northwestern College, Roseville MN, in 1989. They remained dear friends and were married in Indianapolis in 2011. For those of you who knew him well, you will not find it odd that we mention that he is also survived by his best buddy, Tucker Charles, their Schnoodle.
Sean was a member of a large family and is survived by his siblings, Loretta (Mike) Emmert of St. Anthony Minnesota, Steven (Kelly) Bolduc of Dayton MN, Thomas (Jennifer) Bolduc of Princeton MN, John (Dawn) Bolduc of Lincoln NE, Jennifer (Jarrod) Schroeder of Albertville MN, Ander (Megan) Bolduc of Roseville MN, and his half-brother Michael (Gloria) Bolduc of Nashville TN. In addition, he is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Jeanne Bolduc.
A closed casket visitation will be held Wednesday, March 30 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at College Park Church located at 2606 West 96th Street, Indianapolis IN 46268.
The funeral service will be held at the same location on Thursday, March 31 at 10:00 AM
In lieu of flowers, which we can all hear Sean deem "too fancy", your presence whether in person or virtually is more than enough.
