Sarah N. Floyd

Sarah Floyd, 79, passed away on March 3, 2022. She was surrounded by family and had a peaceful passing into the everlasting arms of the Lord.

She faithfully served alongside her husband of 63 years, Minister Shelby Floyd, at churches in Tennessee, Mississippi, Florida, Muncie, Indianapolis, and Greenwood, Indiana since 1961. She was blessed with three wonderful children, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren with two more expected soon.

Sarah was a great encourager, mentor, and loyal friend who always had a smile on her face. She was an incredible example of grace, kindness, and generosity to all. She had many of the qualities listed in Romans 12:9-21, her favorite scripture. Her family and spreading the gospel were the centerpieces of her life.

There will be a Calling from 1-3 p.m. and Memorial Service at 3 p.m. on Sunday March 13 at Heartland Church of Christ (1693 W. Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana).
