Samuel “Sammy” Devonte Wade made his grand appearance on November 19, 2016, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was a first grader at Hornet Park Elementary and loved his teachers and classmates. Due to his diagnosis of autism, he spoke very little but lived life on his terms. He would let you know what he liked and did not like. Sammy was very fond of his tablet and trampoline among many other things such as his hat, church shoes, and vegetables. His first love in life was his Papa Richard whom he had to be around constantly. He and his brother Stephen played together and were inseparable. The impact Sammy had on our lives in seven years is beyond words. He is missed greatly.
Samuel Devonte lived life to the fullest despite all his challenges. Sadly, on April 4, 2024, at the age of 7, Sammy left us suddenly.
Samuel leaves behind Mom: Ashley Wade; Brother: Stephen Wade; Grandparents: Richard and Stephanie Gentle; Uncles: Shamar Gentle and Richard Gentle Jr; Great grandmothers: Daphne Mackinnon and Loretta Peters; Aunts/Uncles/Cousins in Belize, California, Illinois, Miami, Maryland and New York His; Thurmon Family; TEA Church Family.
