Ruby C. Brothers, 81, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday, February 10, 2021 after a brief illness. She was born September 18, 1939 in Centertown, Kentucky to Charles Andrew Taylor and Mattie Bell (Kuykendoll) Taylor.
Ruby was a mother, animal lover (especially cats, geese, and goats) and a huge Charley Pride fan.
She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Brothers (William Greene) of Charlestown, Indiana, sons Michael Brothers of Indianapolis, John Hullbrothers (Jeremy) of Decatur, Illinois, and her six cats.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Brothers, and her daughter, Karen Brothers.
Visitation will be February 26, 2021 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.
Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 pm.
