Roy Allen Marksberry “Big Al”, 65 of Indianapolis Indiana peacefully passed away on December 18th 2022 at 5:32pm surrounded by his beloved Wife and Daughters.

Roy Marksberry was born on Saturday July 20th, 1957 in Milan, Indiana to Father John Marksberry and Mother Charlotte Bromwell.

He was preceded in death by his Father John Marksberry, Mother Charlotte Bromwell, and Brother Rick Marksberry.

He is survived by his Wife of 44 years Pam Marksberry, Daughters; Candace Russell (Jason) and Cheryl Marksberry (Randy Mosteller). Grandchildren; Ashley Bowen (Dakota) and Jacek Mosteller. Great Grandchildren; Noah Bowen and Everly Bowen.

Allen Marksberry was an extraordinary man who was a loving husband and provided for his family. He would love to take his grandkids out and teach them how to fish, how to ride four wheelers, find hidden parks for them to play at. Al would build them amazing playgrounds and sit back and watch them play until the moon came out. He was a very thoughtful Husband who threw a surprise vow renewal for his Wife Pam Marksberry right in the living room with Christmas lights and flowers. He was an amazing father who always showed up for his daughters no matter what the situation was. He was the best Papaw to his Great Grandkids, he would climb into little pools, sit down and have water fights, let them draw all over his work bench and laugh with them until they fell asleep next to him. He protected his family and loved them with his whole heart. “Big Al’s” enormous heart, laugh, and smile will be missed every day.

In leu of flowers, the family is asking that all donations be sent to Indiana Funeral Care to help with all funeral expenses.
