Roy Allen Berry, known to his loved ones as Roy, passed away on September 25, 2015, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born to Ralph and Mary Berry on November 28, 1938, in Indianapolis. Roy attended Tech High School and married Deanna (Kay) Rader December 19, 1958.

Roy was hardworking and an inventive thinker, always there to lend a helping hand and solve any problem that came his way. He had a knack for fixing anything and was known for his strong work ethic.

Roy started his career as a salesman in the dental industry in which led him to form his own company that became Roy Berry Dental Practice Brokers and Associates - focused on helping dentist grow, operate, and run a successful dental practice. He was very well known and respected throughout the Midwest for his specialized knowledge which helped dentists who were retiring with business valuation and appraisals leading to the successful sale of their practice.

Roy and Kay were married for 54 years and were known for enjoying time with friends and family while boating and spending weekends on the water. Roy had a passion for working on and collecting cars and trucks. He enjoyed working on and driving these vehicles, finding joy in the mechanics and intricacies of each one.

Roy is survived by his sons Roger, Mike (Carrie), Jeff, and Kenny (James) and five grandchildren Krista, Megan, Chase, Chris and Carly He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kay, and his sister Susan Rabb.

We remember Roy for his dedication, ingenuity, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements: Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory.
