Roseanna Jane Wolfe, better known as Rosie, at the young age of 53 years old passed away peacefully in her home in Pittsboro, Indiana. On the morning of January 26th, 2025, Rosie was surrounded by her family as she succumbed to melanoma cancer after a valiant fight.
Born on September 19th, 1971, Rosie was brought into the world by her late parents, Aubrey and Betty Alderson. From the beginning, Rosie knew what love was as she was surrounded by 5 siblings, (Cheryl Radican, Rhonda Williams, Nancy Jones, Tim Alderson, and Frank Alderson). Growing up on the West side of Indianapolis, Rosie would go on to attend Ben Davis High School. Here she would go on to be cheer captain and an All-State softball player, all while meeting her long time spouse, Scott Wolfe. After graduating from Ben Davis High School, Rosie and Scott would start their journey of life together.
In that journey together, the two would go on to have a beautiful and strong family, by having two sons, Dallas and Dawson, as well as numerous family pets throughout the years residing in Pittsboro a majority of the time. Rosie was a proud and loving mother of her two boys. From attending sports games, getting out by the pool, and attending concerts, her life was fulfilled with hobbies and memories. Rosie would go on to experience the joys of being a grandparent to Easton and Everleigh. In her later years, nothing made her more happy than spending time with the family and spoiling her grandbabies.
Though her time with us was far too short, it was overflowing with beautiful memories that will never fade. Her spirit will continue to guide us, watching over us as our guardian angel. Her love and legacy will live on in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Hendricks County Animal Shelter to honor Rosie’s legacy and the immense love that filled her heart.
