Rosa Shobe

Rosa Mayree Shobe, 81, of Trafalgar, IN., passed away on Friday October 13, 2023. Born on Friday December 13, 1941, in Indianapolis IN. to the late Aaron R. Kimbley and Ester (Ragan) Kimbley.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Aaron R Kimbley (Bob); her husbands, Raymond S. Doan, Emmett O. Smith, and Lester A. Shobe; and her grandson, Levi A. Doan.

She was a member of New Beginnings Church. She was devoted to service of others, often volunteering at Lords Locker to serve those in need. She had a passion for gardening, not only at home, but everywhere she went. She enjoyed archery, hunting, and being outside while spending time with family.

Her survivors include her partner, Arthur Kermode; her sons Michael (Lorinda) Doan, Adam (Cindy) Doan, and Jarl (Sandy) Smith; her step-sons Bill (Theresa) Shobe and Randy (Mary) Shobe; her step-daughter Lorie (Ed) Hacker; and her partner's son, Kenny Kermode. Rosa is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be arranged by the family.
