Roberta Lucretia Marlow

Roberta Lucretia Marlow was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robert and Ethel (McCann) Marlow on October 23, 1934 and went to heaven on her birthday, Sunday, October 23, 2022.  She was 88 years old.

Roberta is survived by her children - Sam Phillips (Ann), Cynthia Reifeis (Chuck), Bill Hodges (Sue), Chris Hodges, 13 grandchildren and 23.5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Victoria Lucretia Hodges (June, 2020).

Roberta (Bobi) graduated from Ben Davis High School, with a scholarship for music (piano) to Butler University. She celebrated lifelong friendships with those friends for over 70 years. 

She was passionate about politics having served as a poll worker in most elections her entire life.  She loved keeping abreast of current events, gardening, travel, sewing beautiful things, and decorating. Roberta lived her life on her own terms, sharing her charming smile and personality with her family and close friends.

She taught her beloved feline companion, Tiger, how to shake paws, drink water from a martini glass from her coffee table, and other amusing 'tricks'. 

She will be missed by all those she touched.
