Roberta Clendening

CARMEL, INDIANA Roberta (Bobbi) Clendening lost her courageous battle with cancer on March 4, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband Ben, son Ben II, grandson Ben III, and granddaughter Dawn. She is survived by her daughter Diana (Clendening) Sandlin; grandchildren Dana and Katie; great grandchildren Jackie, Phillip, Kasey and Olivia; great, great grandchildren Saya and Ryda.

Bobbi was born in Brownstown on January 24, 1929. She worked and retired from Indiana Bell where she made lifetime friends. She didn't stay still for long, so she worked at TMP Worldwide parttime and volunteered at St. Vincent Hospital. Bobbie was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her butterfly bush in the summer, shopping and spoiling her grandchildren. She will be missed terribly by her family and friends.

Bobbi and Ben were married 65 years when Ben passed on August 26, 2020. At the time, a global pandemic prevented the family from honoring Ben. Please join us on Saturday. March 20th at Pleasant Grove United Methodist in Carmel from 2 to 4 p.m. service at 3 p.m.
