Robert Lee Perry

Robert Lee Perry, 60, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away at Community East Hospital on July 9, 2023. Robert was born in Phenix City, Alabama, to Henry Lee Perry and Rosia Mae (Miles) Perry.

Robert enjoyed playing football and graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School, where he was on the football team. After graduating high school, Robert enlisted in the United Stated Army, where he served for eight years. After his service in the military, he shared a union with Carolyn Goodman. From that union, on August 16, 1998, their son Robert Lamar Perry was born. Big Rob loved spending time with his son, little Rob. He also loved to eat and there was no food he did not like. One of his favorite passions was working on cars. You could catch him fixing and tinkering with cars at any time. Although very private, when Robert was around family and friends, he loved to dance and loved being the comedian and life of the party.

Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, Robert Lamar Perry; mother of his son, Carolyn Goodman; brothers, James C. Perry ad Fred L. Perry; sisters, Carol Perry, Vera (Frederick) Heych, Shelia Perry, Shirley (Lamont) Rhem; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded by his parents, Henry Lee, and Rosia Mae Perry and his brother, Henry Lee Perry, Jr.

Robert will be greatly missed!
