Robert Leora. Flodder, 71, of New Palestine, Indiana passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at his home.
He was born on Saturday, January 21, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late James H. and Priscilla H. (Badger) Flodder.
Robert went to school in Greenwood, Indiana and graduated in 1968. He then attended IUPUI (Purdue) in 1979 with a degree in Engineering Technology. He worked for Challenger, Square D, and L&E Wholesale.
He married Sherri Flodder on April 29, 1972 in Indianapolis, Indiana and spent the next 49 ½ years together.
He loved his 1972 Jensen Healey, camping, and working in his woodworking shop. He and Sherri built their house in 1980. He loved spending time with his family and friends and playing many card games.
He is survived by his wife Sherri (Toole) Flodder, son Robert Leora Flodder II and his wife Jennifer, daughter Stefanie Flodder Niles, brother Ken Flodder, sister Phyllis Collingwood, grandchildren, Joshua Flodder, Danielle (Flodder) Lousey, Jessica (Flodder) Swanson and her husband Dallas, Chris Flodder and his wife Annika Flodder, Bailey-Faith Niles, great grandchildren, Peyton Flodder, Kaylee Flodder, Eli Flodder, and many nieces and nephews.
